BUYER II

The Buyer II is a mid-level procurement professional responsible for executing purchase orders, managing supplier

communications, and supporting project-based material needs. In an engineer-to-order manufacturing environment, the

Buyer II plays a critical role in acquiring engineered and configured materials per project specifications, under the

direction of a Purchasing Agent. This role focuses on tactical execution but requires increasing interaction with

cross-functional teams (Engineering, Planning, Quality) to manage purchasing for moderately complex parts or
